How do you get the bait?
Give five fish to the Scientist on Volcano.
Prerequisites
Activate the island quest, complete prior hand-ins, then obtain the listed bait before the encounter.
Fight or catch method
Prepare the Fish Bucket and enough damage before the attempt. Keep the whale body intact for the crater summon.
After the kill
Carry the body up the wooden path and throw it into the volcano crater.
Do not sell check
Do not sell yet. Do not sell, cook, or abandon the Bowhead Whale body.
