What to do
- Choose one missing catch in GillGrid's collection tracker and open its fish record for the lure. Use the normal catch pool: Mobalytics identifies Drip variants by their unusual appearance and rainbow-coloured name, with no special Drip lure required.
- Before using a catch, check your in-game collection and record any confirmed progress in GillGrid. Steam's Drip achievement requires a kill; merely hooking a rare fish is not the stated condition. Keep anything still needed for an active quest separate from your cosmetic plans.
- Insert a Drip creature into the Reel of Fortune. Mobalytics reports one spin per creature, awarding a random skin. Note which weapon or equipment item receives it so you know what to inspect next.
- Equip that item and try the documented Z or C appearance control for your keyboard layout. If nothing changes, first recheck the reward's item name; then inspect your current controls rather than assuming another spin is required.
- Check Steam if your reward is Legendary: GOLD GOLD GOLD requires unlocking a legendary skin from the slot machine. A different rarity does not meet that requirement. Decide on a stopping point before hunting more Drip catches; this guide has no verified odds or guaranteed spin count.
Before you leave this page
If your goal is surviving a boss, use the difficulty and boss guides before spending a session on appearances. This is a source-checked workflow, not an in-game test. The cited sources do not establish duplicate-skin protection, a pity system, controller bindings or co-op reward sharing; do not plan around those assumptions.
Use the live tools and records
- Record a confirmed Drip catch
- Find the target creature and lure
- Plan the remaining collection
- Compare Steam achievement goals
- Prepare for a difficult boss
