How to Beat Spider Crab and Leave Lighthouse

Complete the Lighthouse request to receive the Empty Beer Can, use it as the boss bait, sidestep Spider Crab's charge and attack during its recovery. Keep the boss meat and return it to the Lighthouse Keeper for boat keys.

What to do

  1. Complete the opening NPC request and verify the Empty Beer Can is in your possession.
  2. Bring healing and a dependable melee weapon if solo; avoid spending the one-off bait until the setup is ready.
  3. Use the Empty Beer Can with the Crab Fishing Rod to begin the encounter.
  4. Maintain space, sidestep the charge, and punish the recovery window instead of trading damage continuously.
  5. Pick up and protect the Spider Crab meat, return it to the Lighthouse Keeper, then use the boat keys and Radar to continue to Forest.
