Boat Keys and Radar: How to Reach the Next Island

The first boat keys come from the Lighthouse Keeper after you return Spider Crab meat. Later islands are unlocked by each island's main boss drop and NPC hand-in. Follow the newly coloured Radar marker instead of searching for universal numeric coordinates.

What to do

  1. Complete the opening Lighthouse quest and retain the Empty Beer Can.
  2. Defeat Spider Crab, pick up its meat, and return to the Lighthouse Keeper. If the reward is missing, recheck that hand-in first.
  3. Buy or equip the Radar as the game directs, then follow the Forest marker.
  4. On Forest, Desert and Rocks, complete the local NPC request and boss trophy return before expecting the next marker.
  5. If a marker still does not appear, check the quest dialogue and whether the required drop remained in your inventory; avoid selling uncertain quest items.
