How to Find an Endangered Fish and Get the Carrot

Catch and keep a creature marked Endangered Species on Desert, then give one valid specimen to the Tourist. GillGrid currently protects Bowlfish and Seahorse records for this exchange. The reward is the Carrot used to summon Pufferfish.

What to do

  1. Reach Desert by completing the Giant Piranha Skeleton hand-in on Forest.
  2. Speak with the Tourist before selling Desert catches so the required exchange is clear in your current build.
  3. Fish the Desert pool with the documented rod and lure, then inspect the caught creature for the Endangered Species label. Bowlfish and Seahorse are protected in GillGrid's current data.
  4. Keep one qualifying creature intact and give it to the Tourist. Confirm the Carrot appears before selling duplicates.
  5. Use the Carrot only when prepared for Pufferfish; preserve the Pufferfish Fin after the fight for the Rocks coordinates.
