How to Fish: Items You Must Not Sell Yet

Treat unique boss bodies and quest trophies as protected until their next summon or NPC exchange is complete. Most important: Spider Crab meat, Giant Piranha Skeleton, Pufferfish Fin, dead Tuna, Albatross Head, Bowhead Whale body and the final Whale Fin.

What to do

  1. Keep Spider Crab meat until the Lighthouse Keeper gives you the boat keys.
  2. Keep the Giant Piranha Skeleton for the woman beside the Forest lake and the Pufferfish Fin for the Tourist on Desert.
  3. Do not sell, cook or eat your first dead Tuna: it is the trigger for the Albatross encounter on Rocks.
  4. Keep the Albatross Head until Volcano coordinates arrive. Keep the Bowhead Whale body for the crater summon.
  5. Keep the final boss Fin until it is returned to the Scientist for the ending route. Confirm each reward before selling duplicate-looking drops.

Before you leave this page

A normal catch is not automatically a safe sale if an active NPC asks for it. GillGrid's live list separates 'sellable' from 'safe to sell now' and qualifies uncertain claims.
