How to Find All 3 Leeches and Get Modified Leech Bait

Leeches are three ground pickups on Forest, not fish caught with a rod. Collect all three, return them to the woman by the lake, and keep the Modified Leech she gives you for the Giant Piranha encounter.

What to do

  1. Reach Forest after returning Spider Crab meat and receiving the boat keys on Lighthouse.
  2. Speak with the woman by the Forest lake so the Leech request is active before searching the island.
  3. Search the ground around the Forest route and interact with each Leech pickup. Do not spend money changing ordinary lures: these quest items are not part of a fishing catch pool.
  4. Return all three Leeches to the quest giver and confirm that Modified Leech has been received before leaving.
  5. Prepare healing and a reliable weapon, use Modified Leech for Giant Piranha, and keep the Skeleton after the fight for the next-island hand-in.

If the counter is short, retrace the island on foot and verify the quest is active. Do not substitute Beginner Boss Lure: it belongs to optional Forest mini-bosses and does not advance the Giant Piranha quest.
