How to Get Handyman on the Final Boss

Handyman requires the final boss to be defeated with bare hands. Reach the Mutated Bowhead Whale through the Volcano quest chain, control the fight carefully and use bare hands for the decisive finish rather than risking an accidental weapon kill.

What to do

  1. Complete the Volcano setup: obtain the Fish Bucket, defeat Bowhead Whale and bring its body to the crater to trigger the final encounter.
  2. Back up the current save through the documented safe process before a deliberate challenge attempt.
  3. Use normal weapons only to control the early fight if your interpretation of the current build allows it, then stop well before the boss is likely to die.
  4. Unequip weapons and attachments, close the remaining distance carefully and finish with bare-hand attacks.
  5. Confirm Handyman in Steam before completing unrelated cleanup or starting another run.
